I provide a safe, loving, home-away-from-home environment where children are nurtured academically, emotionally, and socially. My goal is to support each child's growth through patience, consistency, and genuine care; while creating a space where families feel confident, supported, and welcomed.
My program is guided by Christian values such as kindness, respect, patience, and compassion. While my faith shapes how I care for children, families of all backgrounds are welcome, and I respect each family's beliefs and values. I offer optional faith-based activities which include the reading of a bible story and craft/activity to go along with the story/message being taught. These lessons can be opted out of if you prefer your child not participate.
About Me & My Experience
I bring over 25 years of experience as a licensed childcare provider in the state of California. Throughout my career, I have operated both large and small in -home daycare programs, caring for infants, toddlers, and school- age children.
Although I am currently licensed to operate a large program, I have intentionally chosen to return to a smaller, more intimate setting, typically caring for 6-8 children. This allows me to provide individualized attention, foster meaningful relationships, and maintain the warm, family-like atmosphere that I value most.
At Linda's Little Learners, children are known, supported, and encouraged; each at their own pace.
My Approach to Care & Learning
Children spend a significant part of their early years in childcare, and I believe a strong partnership between families and providers is essential. Open communication, trust, and consistency help create the best possible experience for children and peace of mind for parents.
My program is rooted in play-based learning, where children are encouraged to explore, imagine, and enjoy the freedom of childhood. Hands-on, sometimes messy play is an important part of our day; it supports creativity, problem-solving, emotional development, and physical coordination.
Outdoor play is a priority whenever possible, and families are encouraged to dress children in weather-appropriate clothing that can get messy, allowing them to fully engage in active learning and exploration.
For older children, I gently support kindergarten readiness skills such as early literacy, numbers, and classroom routines; always in a way that is playful, confidence building, and pressure-free.
