Linda’s Little Learners Christian Family Childcare is a licensed in-home daycare located in Citrus Heights, CA. (Facility Number 343626037) I am dedicated to nurturing children academically, emotionally, and spiritually in a safe, loving, home-away-from-home environment. My program is rooted in Christian values, and through age-appropriate Bible stories, child-friendly devotionals, and creative arts and crafts, children are guided to explore faith, kindness, and character in joyful and engaging ways.
While my program is faith-based, all children are welcome. Every child is encouraged to learn, play, and grow in a supportive environment that celebrates curiosity, imagination, and discovery. I respect every family’s beliefs and focus on providing a consistent, caring environment that fosters a strong foundation for learning, creativity, and social-emotional development.
About Me and My Experience
I have been a licensed childcare provider for over 25 years. During that time, I have operated both small and large in-home daycares licensed through the state of California. Although I am currently licensed to operate a large daycare, I have chosen to return to a smaller, more intimate setting with 6–8 children. This allows me to give each child individualized attention, foster meaningful friendships, and maintain the warm, family-like environment I truly value. At Linda’s Little Learners, I strive to share God’s love through gentle, age-appropriate Bible stories, faith-based activities, and everyday moments of play and learning.
My Approach
Children spend a significant portion of their early years in daycare, and I believe that partnership between parents and providers is essential. Communication, trust, and shared values help build a strong foundation not only for the child’s growth, but also for the peace of mind of the whole family.
My program is rooted in play-based learning, where children are encouraged to explore, imagine, and enjoy the freedom of childhood. Messy, hands-on play is an essential part of our day, fostering creativity, problem-solving, emotional growth, and physical coordination. Outdoor play is a priority, and I encourage parents to dress children in weather appropriate clothing that can get messy, allowing them to fully enjoy active, engaged learning.
Older children are gently guided in building kindergarten readiness skills, including letters, numbers, early literacy, and more—all while keeping learning playful, pressure-free, and confidence-building. My goal is to nurture not only a love of learning but also confidence, independence, empathy, and a strong sense of identity.
