Linda's Little Learners is a Christian Family Childcare. I am a licensed in-home daycare provider (facility number 343626037) located in Citrus Heights, CA. I opened my first daycare when my oldest (who is now 25 years old) was a baby. Over the years, I've run both small and large in-home daycares, licensed through the state of California. Although I am currently licensed to operate a large daycare, I’ve chosen to return to a smaller, more intimate setting with 6–8 children. This allows me to give each child more individualized attention, and it helps foster close, meaningful friendships among the children in my care. Most importantly, it allows me to offer the warm, family-like environment that I truly value.

As a God-loving, God-fearing Christian woman, I believe that God has called me to teach and care for children, not only academically and emotionally, but spiritually as well. At Linda’s Little Learners, I strive to plant seeds of faith by helping children know and love God. I do this through age-appropriate Bible stories, child-friendly devotionals, and creative arts and crafts that reflect God’s love and truth. My goal is to foster a deep and lasting love for our Creator in a way that is joyful, engaging, and rooted in the everyday moments of play and discovery.

I realize that my program may not be the right fit for everyone, and that's okay. If you do not believe in God or prefer that your children not be taught about Him, this may not be the best environment for your family. I serve families who value a faith-based foundation and who desire their children to grow in knowledge and in their walk with God. I respect every family's right to choose what aligns with their beliefs, and I encourage parents to find a provider who shares their values.

Children spend a significant portion of their early years in daycare, and I believe that partnership between parents and providers is essential. I want my daycare families to feel like more than just a number. Communication, trust, and shared values help build a strong foundation, not only for the child’s growth but for the whole family’s peace of mind. When we work together, we give children the best possible start to becoming the kind, capable, and faith-filled individuals they are meant to be.

I provide a safe, loving, home-away-from-home environment where children are free to learn, play, and explore. Outdoor play is an essential part of our day. Running, jumping and getting messy, are all signs of healthy,
hands-on fun! I encourage parents to dress their children in clothes that are allowed to get dirty because messy play is a crucial part of learning and development. It fosters creativity, problem solving, emotional growth, and physical coordination.

My program is rooted in play-based learning, where children are encouraged to explore, imagine, and enjoy the freedom of childhood. I also gently guide older children in building kindergarten readiness skills through fun and engaging activities. We work on letters, numbers, early literacy, and more, all while keeping things playful and pressure free. My goal is to nurture not only a love of learning but also confidence, independence, empathy, and a strong sense of identity.

Children thrive when they are surrounded by love, encouragement, faith, and guidance. At Linda’s Little Learners, I strive to be a vessel of God’s love, helping children grow not just in knowledge, but in kindness, compassion, and faith.
