Our son grew by leaps and bounds during his 2.5 years at Linda's Little Learners. He began as a shy little boy but quickly gained confidence, comfort, and countless skills that prepared him beautifully for TK in August 2025. Linda was truly an extension of our family and a steady pillar of support who always took the time to collaborate with us on any challenges or learning opportunities. Her thoughtful approach helped our son thrive both at daycare and at home. We will always be deeply grateful for our time with Linda.

I wish I could tell every local parent about this daycare! When I was brand new to Sacramento, my daughter was three years old, barely talking, not potty trained, and struggling after being asked to leave three other daycares due to biting and meltdowns at drop off.
This daycare welcomed her with open arms and gave her the one-on-one attention she needed. Within just a few weeks, she was potty trained, talking more, and happily interacting with other kids. The environment felt more like a family than just a daycare, and we always felt supported.
I was honestly sad when my daughter aged out because of how much this place meant to us. I can't recommend Linda highly enough!

My son attended Linda's Daycare for 1.5 years, and it was truly wonderful. Linda and her husband Trevor were amazing with him, he had bad separation anxiety and cried at every single drop-off, but despite the rough mornings, he was always so happy at pick-up and often wanted to stay longer and not go home!

Linda provided the absolute best care for my toddler. Not only was she loving, caring and inviting, she and her program helped get my toddler ready for big kid school through her curriculum. Linda also worked with us as we identified an allergy my son had and was so nurturing and patient with the situation. Linda and her family are wonderful caregivers.

Let's face it. It is very hard to leave your child with someone else, especially when you come from early childhood education and criminal justice backgrounds. We can say with all honesty that we did not worry about our son's safety or well-being one time or wonder if he was in good hands. It is priceless to have that peace of mind. Linda is trustworthy, professional, reliable, attentive, caring, courteous, organized, and she truly does care about the well-being of the children and families. She is also very effective at keeping the lines of communication open, which is key to avoiding miscommunications or misunderstandings.
Linda is a very active provider. Your child will not be parked in front of the television all day watching videos or playing video games. The children have plenty of time to play outside and do inside activities/crafts. Although our son wasn't preschool age, she still allowed him to participate in circle time with the rest of the kids. We found great value in the fact that he was being exposed to learning experiences at such a young age. He was only 14 months old and was trying to sing his ABC's and Wheels on the Bus!
We highly recommend Linda as a childcare provider. Between both of our children, we went through six different providers over the course of four years. We can honestly say that Linda has exceeded our expectations on every level. We will miss her and we know that our son will miss Linda and his friends. We have the opportunity to care for our son at home now or we would not have left, but we know without a shadow of a doubt that if we ever find ourselves in a position where we need a provider for our son again, we would rejoin the Linda's Little Learners family without any hesitation!

I am so thankful to Linda for taking such great care of my daughter Allison when I couldn't be there. I appreciate everything she has done for us. My daughter loves being there and I am sad to be leaving. It is for no other reason than to help out family. I was offered the chance to stay home and watch family, which allows me to be home with my daughter. I can't pass up that opportunity. Linda always treated her as if she was her own, and I am grateful for the loving care she provided. I will be keeping in touch and will stop by for visits as we have made friends for life.

My son started with Linda when he was just 6 months old. We came from a daycare experience that was not the best, so I made sure in choosing a new daycare to ask lots of questions and interview several providers. I am confident we made the right choice for several reasons. Every morning when we came to the door, my son was so happy to see Linda. He was a pretty shy baby, so it spoke volumes when he greeted Linda with a huge smile. In the first 4-5 weeks, Linda took the time each night to e-mail me his daily schedule. It made me feel so much better about leaving him, knowing what he was doing each day. When he was just shy of 2yrs old, he had learned so much from the activities they do there. He was counting to 15, knew all of his colors, body parts, animals and learned to say please and thank you. We credit a large part of his development to Linda's care. She is patient and loving and we would recommend her hands down! Linda is more than a daycare provider, she is a loving Mother who treated my son like her own and we are truly grateful to have found her.

It is very hard to drop your children off every day, and not be with them yourself. However, being able to drop our kids off with Linda made it much easier! My boys looked forward to seeing Linda and their friends every day, and usually didn't want to come home at night. When we first started with Linda, I only had one child. She provided us with a daily accounting of my son's activities and meals, which really helped ease us into a new place. Once we got settled, Linda maintained the communication lines through text and email, helping to ensure that my husband and I always knew of any issues or problems that might have come up. We found Linda to strike the right balance between a care giver and a teacher. We had no hesitation placing our second child in her care after his birth. Our kids were COMFORTABLE, LOVED and were LEARNING. What more could you ask for?

I found Linda by accident, and it turned out to be one of the BEST parenting decisions we've ever made. I remember the first day I took Josie to Linda's house, Josie was a tiny 3 1/2 month old! After the birth of my son, we also put him into her care. Linda treated both of my kids as her own and I never for a moment doubted that my kids were in a place where they were loved and well cared for. As the years went on, Linda also became our family photographer (yes, she does photography as well!) no small thing with my family, but since she has a magic touch with my kids and can get them to cooperate and listen during photo sessions, it was an absolute no brainer, and what a bonus! Our journey took us to a new school (out of the area) with new friends, but Linda will always have a special place in our hearts. Linda, we love you!
